What development tools support DataDirect XQuery® and DataDirect Data Integration Suite?

DataDirect XQuery® and DataDirect Data Integration Suite are supported by Stylus Studio, the award-winning XML IDE from DataDirect. Stylus Studio is included in the DataDirect Data Integration Suite, and can also be purchased online here.

Note: To deploy XQuery applications written within Stylus Studio requires the purchase of runtime licenses for DataDirect XQuery.

Do I need to purchase the DataDirect JDBC driver also?

No. DataDirect XQuery® and DataDirect Data Integration Suite provide an XQuery engine as well as XQJ API implementation. DataDirect XQuery® embeds the DataDirect JDBC drivers as part of the product for relational access.

Is there a developer version of DataDirect XQuery® or DataDirect Data Integration Suite that I can use for my POC?

Yes, a developer version is available should you need more time to work on your proof of concept than the evaluation license provides.
